This IKEA Hemnes dresser used to be my workbench for the past few years — covered in paint, scratches, and plenty of wear. I decided it was time to give it some love and turn it into something beautiful. I added texture to the drawers using small wood rings for a modern design, then went through several failed finishes before landing on the perfect dark walnut stain.
