Windows 11 May 2026 update fails on some PCs, but Microsoft has already shipped a workaround, and it's working on a permanent fix.
Microsoft has fixed the Windows 11 KB5089549 install error 0x800f0922 through KB5089573 for 24H2 and 25H2 PCs.
To fix the “Cannot install Windows, BitLocker Drive Encryption is enabled on selected partition” error, suspend BitLocker via Settings or Control Panel, or use your recovery key to unlock the drive.
