A Loggerhead Sea Turtle that has called the BioPark home for the last year is headed back to the wild. Shelldon came to Albuquerque in October of last year as part of an education ambassador program.

Shelldon Ray Skelcher, 55, of Scottsbluff, Neb., died Nov. 23 at Regional West Hospital in Scottsbluff. He was born Feb. 8, 1961, in Torrington.
